Gregor the Overlander is an ordinary 11 year old boy living in New York city with his family.

Cole Matthews (from “Touching Spirit Bear”) is a 15 year old teen with a “slight” anger issue.

James Pompaday lives with his mom, stepfather, and his baby brother. He is an eleven year old boy who is about to have a life changing situation.

Gopal starts the story living in a village with his family who are Aai, Baba, Naren, and Sita. His friends are Mohan and Shiva. He has love for telling kahanis (or what we would call stories) to his family and friends. He lives a peaceful life.

In “A Crack in the Sky”, Eli Papadopoulos is a kid who lives in the domes of America. The domes hold what are left of the human race.

Blomkvist was just your average journalist. He was divorced, had one daughter and a lover. He was part owner of the magazine Millennium, for which he was an investigative journalist.

Terry Fox was a Canadian boy who as a young boy loved sports and was an athlete runner. One night driving home from basketball in 1976, he crashed and when he recovered he realised his right knee was sore, choosing to ignore it, he finished the basketball season.

In the future, Ty lives on the sea floor with his mom, dad, and sister, Zoe. They have massive kelp fields in which hundreds of fish swim.

Walt Kowolski is a bitter man. His beloved wife has just died, he’s being hassled by her overzealous priest, his grown children are ungrateful and condescending and his grandkids are spoiled brats. Walt is also fed up with the changing face of his Detroit neighborhood.

As a strategist he was crucial to the organization of the March on Washington and his desire for non-violent protest was one that saw him work closely with Martin Luther King. As an openly gay man in a time when homosexuality was criminalized, Rustin’s effectiveness was somewhat limited, as people’s prejudices got the better of their judgment.
